Dr Tim Raupach is an Industry Scientia Lecturer at UNSW Sydney, where he works at the Institute for Climate Risk and Response and the Climate Change Research Centre. His research is focused on understanding how severe thunderstorms and associated hazards of hail, extreme wind, and extreme rain may change in a warming world. With a background in severe storm research, radar meteorology and rainfall microstructure, he is interested in translating physical climate risk data into information useful to decision makers.
