Senan Gill
Masters Candidate
Master's student Senan is studying storms responsible for intense rainfall events and the suitability of flood modelling approaches including intensity-duration-frequency curves (IDFs) with climate change. Their project draws on both hydrology and atmospheric science. They completed their Bachelor's degree at the University of Newcastle in 2024 after a career change post-pandemic. Spending their early years in Ireland and growing up in Victoria, Senan is interested in the impacts of rainfall on communities. Their hobbies include exploring the outdoors, following sports (especially ice hockey) and learning French.
